Course Description

Designing Transformative Learning Experiences


Enable educators to design engaging, learner-centred, and technology-enhanced learning experiences by integrating contemporary pedagogical frameworks, instructional design principles, digital learning resources, and Artificial Intelligence into classroom practice.

Course Learning Outcomes

  • Digital Pedagogy & Frameworks: Master and apply TPACK, SAMR, and UNESCO ICT CFT frameworks to make informed, context-specific teaching decisions.
  • Instructional & Learning Experience Design: Design effective technology-enhanced learning experiences using Learning Experience Design (LXD) and Backward Design principles.
  • Active & Blended Learning: Implement active learning strategies (flipped classroom, inquiry-based, problem-based) and blended learning models (rotation, flex, a la carte, enriched virtual).
  • AI Integration in Pedagogy: Apply AI literacy, the UNESCO AI Competency Framework, and practical AI tools for lesson planning, content creation, assessment, and differentiated instruction.
  • Data-Informed Teaching: Analyze performance, engagement, and behavioral data to inform instructional decisions and design targeted student interventions.
  • Inclusive & Equitable Education: Leverage Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and assistive technologies to support diverse learners and bridge the digital divide.
  • Pedagogical Mentoring & Coaching: Act as a digital champion by mentoring colleagues, conducting peer observations, and sustaining communities of practice.
